Hosted Telephony
As well as traditional telephony, Talking Technology also offer a Hosted Telephony solution: iTalk is a hosted telephony and application suite delivered to end user businesses over fixed data circuits, bypassing the customer need for on-site system ownership.
License Options
Licensing enables the user to utilise the full application suite on a monthly basis if required. Users and applications are licensed on a monthly basis and at a fraction of the investment required to implement such solutions as call recording, call centres, unified messaging etc in an outright purchase manner.
Applications
Unity
Unity is a gateway into the system, harnessing the power of the desktop PC to simplify the making and receiving of calls. All the functionality normally seen on proprietary digital handsets is replicated on the GUI; inbound/outbound call lists, Speed Dials, Do Not Disturb, Follow Me etc.

Unified Messaging
Given that the modern office typically relies heavily on email, there is the opportunity for considerable synergy with the iTalk Messaging platform. iTalk will deposit all inbound voice mail messages in the client Inbox of the extension owner. In this way we can make the email Inbox the destination of choice for managing the various forms of communication the come into the modern enterprise.
MiReception
Your telephonist offers the first impression of your business to your customers and therefore becomes a critical component of your Customer Relationship Management. iTalk MiReception extends the options offered to your operator beyond the core requirements of call handling, and addresses the more sophisticated business operator requirements.

Call Recording
Deploying call recording on an extension basis on a month by month basis now makes the application a lot more relevant and affordable. There is also no requirement for the day to day management on an in-house server.
Number Portability
Have you ever had to move office and been told that you have to change you telephone numbers? All numbers are now ported to the network core which for instance enables us to have any telephone number ring anywhere we choose. For instance, you could have a traditional Manchester number (0161) ring on a hosted system in London!
